The Scapers story
Founded by our owner Kyle Kraft, Scapers actually began as a landscaping business. While growing the business, Kyle struggled to find a reliable roll-off dumpster service to deliver and pick up at his job sites. Kyle realized that there was a strong need in the marketplace, so Scapers transformed into a full-scale dumpster service. The goal was to change expectations and build a completely different type of roll-off company. At the core, the mission of Scapers is to be responsive to customers, easy to work with, committed, reliable, respectful, and professional. We are proud to be the support our clients need to maximize their productivity and achieve their goals.
Kyle is the Chief Everything Officer at Scapers and ensures the team has the equipment they need to be the best dumpster service in St. Louis. He earned his BS in AG Business from Southeast Missouri State. Kyle brings an out-of-the-box mindset, problem solving skills, and a willingness to take risks to Scapers. His dynamic personality, passion, and encouragement bring out the best in the Scapers’ team. Off the job, Kyle enjoys driving side x side ATVs, going camping, and eating BBQ.
We call her the Office Overlord because Brandy manages the ins and outs of the entire office. Her daily load includes acting as the dispatcher, managing all the financial aspects of the business, stocking the office supplies, hiring new team members, and helping Rocko with collections. She has over 20 years of experience in customer care and the customers are truly her favorite part of the job. When she is not working, Brandy can be found sipping a Diet Coke, sitting on her back porch, or hanging out with her family.
With over 20 years of experience in the customer service industry, Caroline is a skilled and organized office assistant at Scapers. She schedules pickups and deliveries, provides customer assistance, and completes data entry. Caroline has a BA in studio art and an MBA in business administration. She greatly enjoys the company of her co-workers and loves working for a business where no one feels like a number. Outside of work, Caroline spends her time hanging out with family, traveling, and doing arts and crafts.
Brian, also known as “Gravy,” is known for going the extra mile for our customers. He has great attention to detail, making sure that the truck and equipment are in excellent condition before leaving for the delivery. He holds his CDL license and held the esteemed title of Alderman for his township of Kimmswick in previous years, protecting his community from floods. His favorite aspects of the job include interactions with friendly customers and the encouraging work environment at Scapers. When he has free time, Gravy likes to ride his motorcycle, try out a new recipe, entertain friends and family, and spend time with his daughter.
Larry is a CDL licensed professional with years of experience. He always prioritizes safety and genuine customer care with every single job. At Scapers, Larry has found a positive work environment with great team support and a job that he feels utilizes his skills. Outside of work, Larry enjoys time with his wife, electronics, reading, camping, and boating.
With over 20 years of safe commercial licensed driving experience, Roger is a seasoned professional and completes each job with care. He has a friendly, positive attitude and a desire to be a team player, which benefits our Scapers’ team and our clients each day. Roger enjoys the daily hands on work and challenges along the way. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, fixing buggies and motorbikes, exercising, and trail riding.
Known for his strong navigational skills, Scott delivers dumpsters to customers safely and easily every time. He has a long-term investment in safety as he has worked as a full-time firefighter and paramedic. His responsibilities include dropping off and picking up rolloff dumpsters. Although he was born in St. Louis, Scott resides in Oakville now with his wife and three daughters.
The office always stays safe under the watchful eye of Rocko. He is the Head of Security and Collections. If you have not paid your bills, be prepared for him to woof at you. Rocko is a great guard dog and an even better napper. He can smell food from a mile away, so he cannot be trusted with watching over snacks. Getting 24/7 attention is Rocko’s favorite part of the job. His hobbies include shredding tennis balls, riding in the truck, and chewing on furniture when left home alone (which is why he had to get a job at Scapers).
Here at Scapers, Sandra uses her skills as an office assistant to take care of customers and share her great sense of humor with the team. Born and raised in STL, she likes to draw, have movie nights with her kids, and bake.
A St. Louis native, Richie has been driving trucks for 1 year and is always willing to go the extra mile. He is an integral part of the Scapers family, and outside of work, Richie enjoys gaming and spending time with his family.
James is a CDL licensed professional with years of experience. He will always provide safety and adaptability with every experience he comes across. At Scapers, James is passionate about his job and genuinely loves the Scapers team. Outside of work, James enjoys NASCAR.
Stefano is extremely passionate about customer service and enjoys the unique nature of the job. He has been a Scapers driver for 1 year and, in his free time, he enjoys the world of monster trucks.
As a certified CDL driver, Matt is very detail oriented and is always ensuring quality is at its peak in every situation. With a focus on safety, Matt ensures the Scapers experience is organized and efficient. Matt likes to hunt, fish, and vacation with his family.
Frank holds a Heavy Equipment certification (level 2) and is a retired Army veteran 10 years. With a “can do” attitude and the ability to overcome any obstacle, Frank is responsible for delivering, picking up, and dumping for Scapers. He enjoys the family environment and cares about his team and customers.
With years of experience and a Lewis and Clark welding certification, Dennis maintains all mechanical equipment here at Scapers. He is hard working, persistent, and dedicated in all of his efforts. Dennis enjoys the outdoors and often goes hunting, fishing, boating, and camping.
